First

Welcome to my house. It lives in Rockford, Illinois. It is currently covered in snow and Christmas lights and is built into a hill so you only see the lower floor from the back.

I don't technically really live in this house anymore but it's still mine no matter how many times my mom remodels my room and stores things in it.

I usually live in Boston, MA while I attend Emerson College to study film production. A week ago I moved out of my apartment and drove through a blizzard to arrive in Illinois for a wonderful Polish Christmas before I head off to sunny Los Angeles for my final semester. Which is why I am writing this blog. So people can read the stupid stupid shit I will decide to post here.

So hello! This is my blog. I've decided to call it "The Hopeful And The Unafraid" for a couple of reasons:

1. This is the title of an incredible Jason Anderson album (and title track). He is my favorite singer and you should stop what you're doing right now and look him up on itunes.

2. The title embodies how I currently feel about life and my outlook and things like that. I am so excited about everything I can't control right now - there is so much I am hoping to change and discover about myself and my attidue towards adventure and going to LA seems like the perfect time for that movement to begin. I have to be one of the hopeful and unafraid!

So great. Here we go.

  1. The title embodies how I currently feel about life too! Except that maybe I'm a little afraid.

Your house looks cool. Maybe I'll post a picture of my house to the 2sg blog when Sam and I are leaving it in the dust.
